The announcement you are referring to had to do with Remote Incident Manager.
If you are not using this application, then there is no reason not to update.
I have done the update, and find it to be essentially bug free.

I agree. No need to stay a version behind. You are doing yourself a
disservice by not staying current.

I’m curious as to where you read that? I also have concerns about the validity
of the source. I have updated and I’ve had no issues.

I read a notice that said not to upgrade to sequoia until further notice. this
kind of thing happens often at the beginning of a new OS. I’d rather not deal
with that kind of stuff but I don’t want to get too far behind either so I move
up right behind the new one.

May as well upgrade to the current OS rather than staying behind. Not much
difference and there’s no real benefit unless you are running an app that won’t
work on a newer OS.

Thanks, Brad. I’ll keep this in mind. We’re kinda stuck with the Ero for now,
but I agree with you about giving that much info to Amazon.

Brad,
I agree with you about Eero. Is the Links’s app accessible? The Orbi app is

I guess that could be true. But wouldn’t that also hold for the Alexa, or HomeKit, or other pods? Also, I would suspect that any other router system could have the capability to eavesdrop as well. Since I shop with Amazon all the time, I guess Already well enmeshed into their ecosystem and so don’t

Hi ET,
I completely agree with you about the Orbi. We just changed from the Orbi to
an Eero system. So far it works well, and the app is very accessible.
