Sounds like you failed to clear the edit field when doing the initial Save/Save
As.
Try the following to rename the document.
With the document open, do the following:
1. Go to the Menu Bar > File Menu.
2. From the File menu, select Rename.
3. Here you can correct the current name of the file,
