Hi,
Hope my mail finds you well,
Recently, I’ve installed Mac OS Sonoma to external storage. When I used the
installer, I checked the box to copy user settings. After restart, it gets into
my main SSD and not the external one. However, I get into boot menu, and choose
the external storage to b
That’s really too bad about the Orbit. But I guess you get what you pay for.
*sigh*. It would really be nice if people didn’t have to break the bank to get
a braille display.

Regarding VarioUltra, no they've not incorporated wi-fi. If you look for a

Hi Simon.
Thanks for your advice. I don’t feel like an adapter in a spare pocket will
work for me. I will phone the Apple store and ask about Bluetooth.
Best wishes.
Andy.

Hi Stan.
Thanks, Perhaps I’ll go for Bluetooth. They sound less complicated than using
an adapter.
Best wishes.

Hi Jason.
Thanks. I think I’ll try and find out a little about Bluetooth headphones.
Sounds like a simpler option.
Best wishes.

Hi all,
Question for those of you with braille displays. On both iOS and
iPad,, I have some commands, both default and custom, that Voiceover
does not announce when in keyboard help. Same commands are affected on
both devices.
Wondering if anyone has seen this behavior.

Yes, it is. That was a big reason for my looking into the Activator. I still
might end up buying one, just because there’s no other viable Braille display
qwerty combo. I currently have an old Focus44 hooked up to my PC desktop, but
as you can probably imagine, the dots are getting harder and
I didn't know the 40-cell Brailliant had panning buttons at either end of the
display in addition to the thumb keys. I have the 20-cell unit, which does not
have those, but I have heard that the 40-cell Brailliant has more buttons than
the one I have.

Bluetooth earphones work very well, or you can get lightning connecting [wired]
