Hi,
I just looked through the options and if there is anything there for video I’m
not seeing it. That doesn’t mean it is not there. But I am a novice with the
app and do not see anything there but perhaps uploading it under media.

Hi Merv,
If you could check I’d appreciate it. I downloaded the free trial, but I
don’t want to open it until I’m ready to start messing with it. :). But, that
isn’t your problem, so if it becomes too time-consuming, don’t worry about it.

Hi all,
So when I went to log into my blog on my Mac, I received a prompt from VO
asking about using my gmail account in other apps. I said no, because I didn’t
want to set up gmail and all that. But it seems that in doing that, I caused
other problems. I can still modify the blog, but I get
I know you can add graphics. I honestly would have to look but it is a pretty
powerful program. I will have to take a look this weekend. There are a ton of
features I haven’t begun to explore.

Ah, that’s very cool! The block thing in Wordpress kinda hurts my head. Lol.
Can you also add video, or does it only work with written content?

Mars edit makes it possible to avoid using blocks. You can just type as if you
were editing a word document and then publish right to your blog. I have not
tried pcreating or publishing pages yet but for blogs it is great. I understand
that it also will work with Mastodon now. But I have not fig
Hi Merv,
Can you say more? What specifically do you love? Also, how do you work with
the block design in WordPress? It seems like it would be very intuitive if you
can see and figure out how to arrange the blocks, but I’m not sure how to work
with that if you can’t visually arrange them.

Hi,
I think that for basic use such as word processing and email/web browsing then
the air should be fine. If you however do a lot of file editing with audio,
then you might want the pro. I think it all really depends on what you are
doing. With that said, the air machines seem to be getting
I love Mars Edit on my Mac. If there are any tutorials out there I would love
to know. I get the feeling I am not nearly using it to its potential. It was
recommended to me about three months ago and I am still teaching myself how to
use both WordPress and Mars Edit.

It's the same thing as the Fn key. I don't know why they changed it. It does
the exact same thing.

Hi All,
My apologies for the cross-post. As a note, While I do know folks who are

Thanks so much and have a terrific weekend!

Hi all,
While in a text message, I invoked the rotor to select Links.
Something happened and can no longer find Links. Checked in the rotor
settings and Links is still selected. How to fix this? Thanks.

So, just to be clear, the Globe key is just another name for the FN key?
That’s easy. For some reason I thought it was an additional key added on newer
Macs.

Here is a summary from the tidbits article that might help you decide.
Do note that the MB pro computers do have a brighter display, but if you aren’t
really using the display I would go for the top of the line AIR over the bottom
of the line Pro.

Hi Jurgen,
Can you say more about Mars?
I thought about using something like What’s App or even Facebook, but I like
the vlog idea better. First, everything can just be housed there. That will
be convenient for anyone who wants to look at it, but not necessarily receive
alerts all the time.

Hi Donna,
Word Press is pretty accessible in my opinion. I use Mars as an app solution on
the Mac to upload content. So it's not necessary to work online.
But wouldn't it be easier in your case to use a messenger like Whats App and
create a family group? Just as an idea.

Hi Dave,
I’m not a hardware expert by a long shot, but the MBPs have generally been more
powerful. Also, and I don’t see well enough to confirm this personally, I
think they have better displays.

Yeah, I thought about that. And if I do get an Air, it will definitely be the
13-inch. But still, that pricing on the MBP is kinda tempting. OK, in
addition to my preference for things small and light, I’m also kind of a speed
freak. Those two factors sometimes make for an incongruous combin
Keep in mind, that the Apple Insider article was comparing a 15” MacBook Air,
to the 14” M3 MacBook Pro.
The 13” MacBook Air would be lighter and smaller, and can be configured the
same as the 15” used for comparison in the article. :)

Open this folder when in Finder by pressing CMD + Shift + A, then press CL, to

Brad,
Then why on earth did Apple decide that there was something distinctive about
an Air vs. Pro? Simply size and weight? Color choices? Is this a parallel to
the iPhone and - Pro vs. SE?

Brad makes a strong case that for an extra $100, the MBP is the better machine.
