I hear my translation but it doesn’t stay long enough on the screen to copy. It
used to stay on the screen prior iOS16, back then I could read it by word, by
character and could copy it too but, alas, not any more…….

That’s not true Anders. I used to do this all the time with iOS 15. I’m not saying that 16 is the culprit, but ever since the upgrade to iOS 16, the translation won’t stay on the screen for me to review it. Siri just kicks back out to the listen. Screen erasing the text from the translation.Sent fr
Good points to consider. Thanks, Herbie.

Hi!
The only way of having your phone translating the way you want that I know of
is to get an android phone.
I had a Nokia 8 and you could actually ask it things in Swedish and it
translated it into Swedish.
I guess the translation app from google is more integrated on android than on
apple.

Hi!
I have a small apartment and two studio monitors from Cali audio (people from
JBL who started a new company). They’re so good that I don’t need any new
speakers for a while and therefore no HomePods.

One thing that Sonos can do that I don’t believe HomePods can do, is support
Dolby Atmos in Apple Music. That to me is a game changer. That, and I beleive
with the latest sonos at least, you can have one speaker and have stereo sound.
That is one major turn off of the Homepod that Apple does on
Even then, they could do that in TeamTalk making life easier lol. Yes, that
chat has improved since the recent changes. Also, if you play against strangers
on Quentinc, you may run into people who speak a different language.

Hi Joseph and all,
I am using two old Sonos Play Ones, which I subbed in for two SonosOnes whose
power supplies completely fried. After that experience, we were loathe to buy
any more Sonos products, even though initially Sonos had been our sound system
of choice. Unfortunately, time didn’t p
So does mine, but I didn’t do much with chat. The little there was, it read
fine. See, I get together with some friends on TeamTalk and we play games on
there, so for the most part, we do the chatting in TeamTalk, unless someone
wants to type something snarky, which happens sometimes.

That is how are used to operate, I would just read the translation on the screen, but then, with iOS 16, the screen reverts back to a Siri screen and illuminates the text from the screen. It’s very frustrating. Maybe there’s a setting that I have to look at in settings app. But again I can’t review
