I will be creating one of these soon. In looking at this in
appleid.apple.com, I see two that are in use and revoked others no
longer used. But there is one I cannot recall what app it is for. Is
there a way to find this out? Thanks.

Sounds like the item on your Desktop was the volume icon.
I suspect that you did not hear VoiceOver say Volume, because you have not gone
into your Finder preferences > Advanced, and enabled the toggle to show file
extensions.

[please could somebody remind me how to create a VO hotkey to run an App? It is
so many years since I did this I have forgotten.
I went into keyboard commanders but I could not find how to go through a list
of apps to find the one I want.

The Firefox installer you downloaded is a DMG. When you open a DMG, you end up
with a volume icon on your Desktop.
When you place focus on the item on your Desktop, if you hear VoiceOver say
“Firefox Volume”, you can remove it by pressing CMD + E.
If you do not hear VoiceOver say “Firef

program from applications to the trash. If you have to clear it your
system will ask you to enter your password or use touch ID if you have a
