Just a shot in the dark, and I’m almost embarrassed to mention it because it’s
so obvious, but of course you’ve checked the volume to make sure that it isn’t
down so low that you can’t hear it. Excuse the insulting question but sometimes
these things happen. Sent from my IPhone

Hi Pete did you try a pass-through gesture? You know double tap and hold then
slide while on those sliders. I’m not saying that that works just that
sometimes these controls do respond to pass-through gestures

Yes, it can be done and I believe Applevis has some tutorials.

I don’t think that matters. The voice that I was using was the Victoria voice,
so it did not need to be downloaded.

I’m wondering, what voice are you using for voiceover? Were using one that had

Hi, Group.
I am interested in installing Windows in my Macbook-Pro2017 with Big Sur
using Bootcamp. Can I do it myself independently or with some
sighted-assistance?
If yes, I would like to read some tutorial's on the subject.
How can I proceed about it? Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks!
Andrew,
This is exactly what happened to me on my first Mac that I ended up returning.
Be careful about reinstalling the operating system. When I tried to do that,
for the very same reason you are thinking about it, I erased the disk, but then
received an error message that the operating syste
Hi Andrew,
Yes, you can definitely get into Recovery on your own. In fact, the Recovery
stuff on the M1 Macs is even more accessible than that of the older Intel or
PPC Macs.
To get into Recovery on an M1, power it down, then wait a few seconds, then
hold down the power button, and keep holdi
Thanks, Tim, I will ask them to help. \they’re are not terribly computer savvy
so it makes things hard. I think I may have to reinstall the operating system.
How do I get into recovery partition and erase the drive to reinstall? Can I
do this without sight on new macbook air? Honestly, havin
Hi,
It is the same command. You can use either cmd-f5, or hold down the cmd key
and triple press the power button/fingerprint sensor.
If you have a sighted person around, have them check if audio is muted in the
VoiceOver Utility under the Sound category. Do you hear any noise at all when

Hi,
Just set up my new silicon macbook air. Everything went well, I managed to
migrate my info from old macbook air and when the restart happened I can’t hear
voiceover at all. It’s not muted, it is ticked as the sighted person trying to
help me says but I can’t hear speech. I’m just desperat
Hi Anders,
I’ve never tried the PowerBeats Pro, but I like my AirPods Pro a lot. As far
as how good the sound cancellation is, I don’t have a basis of comparison, but
I find it to be quite good.
Cheers,

The noise cancelling is pretty good and even without it activated, they block
out sound better than the other models ever did.

Since the AirPods max is not really something you carry around I would like to
have some noise canceling in-ear headphones.
I have the powerBeats, not the pro ones that are noise canceling.
But I wonder which one to buy?
For those of you who have the AirPods Pro, how much do the cancel out?

If this topic has come up before, please accept apologies. I’ve not taken too
many videos up to now, but did get one the other day that I wanted to share
with a friend. I was hoping to be able to cut out the first 10 seconds or so
before sharing, so I went into Photos on my 2nd generation iPhone
