Problem with Siri Schedule Command

Hello, I think I have fixed this. If I tell Siri “Schedule lunch with Pete 5th May 12 noon” then Siri asks me which of my contacts called Pete I mean and then sends an invitation to that Pete. However if I instead tell Siri “New Event Lunch with Pete 5th May 12 noon” then Siri simply adds that e
