When you set up a new device, you are prompted to either send or not send Siri

will help Siri to become better. But you do have the option to opt out.

I actually understood that apple stopped doing that for everyone, only
using individuals they tell in advance?
Seem to recall learning this here.

No trouble at all with my homePod. I have loved it since I got it. I would
guess it was probably a specific network issue. Mine never has trouble with
that.

That’s interesting. I’ve never had any trouble with the HomePod connecting.
It’s just a Siri thing.

I had all that problem as described by Dona on my Home Pod mini and I was glad
when I got rid of it as Apple can’t just make good smart speakers if the
assistant can’t do lots of stuff.

I gave up with the Home Pod Mini in the end as it didn’t like my connection and
it would always have trouble connecting. So I sold it. I’ll never buy another

She does throw temper tamptruns. You make her mad and she won't answer
at all untill forced.
You do know everything you say to her and that she says is logged at apple.

Hi,
I’m watching videos on YouTube which are actually language lessons. The
teachers says she’s placed a transcript in the description box of the video but
i can’t find it with Voiceover. Is this normally doable? I could access the
transcript on my Windows machine but not on the mac.
Andrew
No, I think it's been doing it for a while. Can't say for sure how long because
I hate the stock podcast app, and, I never do podcasts on my Mac.

That’s nothing. A few weeks ago I asked her on my Apple Watch to begin indoor
walk. What I got displayed on the screen was “F*** I can’t help you” Now, was
she cursing at me or was this a misunderstanding on her part of my
instructions? Perhaps we will never know.

So a few minutes ago, I wanted to say something to my husband who was down in
the basement. I said, “Hey Siri, intercom.” She responded by starting to list
nearby restaurants. This despite the fact that it was 7:30 AM here and it’s
minus 15 degrees outside. Lol

Hi!
First I thought that she had issues with other languages but it seems that
English is a problem for her too.
So i am not sure what they do at apple.
Google Assistant is a really good tool.
That’s the only thing I really miss from Android.

Oh, wow! That would be a pain. Thankfully, I don’t experience that issue,
though I will say that since installing Big Sur on my Mac, the Siri charm seems
to go off randomly. It doesn’t interfere with much, but it is mildly annoying.

If you have it on your iPhone using the native podcast app, I believe that
should sync with your podcast application on the Mac.
