Thank you very much for the guide. I’ll let you know ...

I'm thinking I might do this because although I'm completely comfortable with
mopjave I don't want to get too far behind and my Mac mini is a little older.

Yes you still can. I would go to Safari, and do a search on something like “
download Mac OS Catalina”. That’s what I did the other day, and I got a direct
link to the App Store. I went crazy for about half an hour trying to find it in
the App Store itself.

can you upgrade to Catalina even after Big Sur has come out? I'm having second
thoughts about going up to Big Sur from Mojave.

Brad is right, that’s exactly what I needed to do for both my Mac mini and
MacBook Air because I was, literally, a day late and a dollar short, as the
saying goes. I went to do the upgrade the first day High Sierra became
available. The way I found the installer was not to go to the App Store,
Oh,I didn't know that. I thought once a new OS became available, the older OS
was removed. Thanks, Brad.

You can still upgrade to Catalina. You need to go to the Mac App Store and
search for macOS Catalina. You should be able to find the most recent OS
installer.
Installers can also be found for the last several versions of the Mack OS by
doing the same thing.

Hi Pete,
I do have keyboard commander enabled, and have tried both option keys. These
commands are not keyboard commander commands, I think they are standard Mac
commands.
The other thing I just figured out is that entering accented letters with

Nope, that doesn't work either. this is so strange. And it doesn't look like

Hello,
I am also seeing the issues with column view in the finder. A work around is to
use VO plus left and right arrows instead of just the arrow keys. Also make
sure you interact using VO plus shift plus down arrow. This is a bug that has
been reported to apple.

Hi,
I have a couple of questions about this, and I’m sure you’ve looked at these,
but I feel better at least asking. First, do you have any other devices with
3.5-inch jacks that you can connect your speakers to, do they work with these
other devices? Next, do you by chance have a pair of headp

Yes and this is a shame as I really want to get thees speakers running on this
machine. Oh well I guess I will have to keep hunting for something that works.
Like I said I can confirm that they have power. VO just says name which is

I have never used CTRL + Backspace to delete words, but find that using Option
+ Backspace will do this.
I have always used Option + Left/Right arrow keys to navigate by single words,
and find that this still works, though navigation behavior is not the same in
all applications.

Hi all,
Yesterday I was prompted to install software updates. Since then, I can no
