Yeah but your screen goes to sleep still. Even though you have the hard drive
set to not go to sleep, the screen still goes to sleep. You could make it so
that it doesn't, but I would think that if you did that it would damage it
overtime unless you set the brightness to 0.

If I can't reliably use the machine to browse the web, then it's not
going to suit my needs. These issues do not occur with Jaws or, to my
knowledge, with NVDA. Apple has shifted most of its development away
from the Mac, and, ever since the iPhone 5 Maps debacle, they have

I have this problem too. sometimes it just quits talking and makes this buzzing
sound as if it's completely overloaded. I'm not running catalina yet. a work

on again. sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't.

Hi Eric,
I understand your frustration. I have similar problems on a website that has a

for over 4 years. Getting a Pc has also crossed my

Hi, Tim,
I played with the sheet navigator and it took me to a table with ten blank
cells and columns. I didn’t seem to get any further but thank you for your

Hi all,
I am hearing "Safari busy" way too often on my Mac. I just visited
allmusic.com and tried to look up an artist and read the bio and some
album reviews. When I first accessed the site, VO would say "Safari
busy" but would work eventually. Then when I got to the artist's
actual page, it j

What you’ve said isn’t the case because I have these functions disabled, in
other words I have my Mac machines set so that I don’t need to enter a Password
after a period of inactivity.

Mary Jo, you can find the commands to move from sheet to sheet in numbers
window menu which is all the way to the right just before the help menu.

Hi,
In Numbers, you can have multiple Sheets each having multiple tables. Use the
Sheet navigator to move between the various sheets and, if the tables aren't
properly labelled, you'll need to interact with each table to determine if it's
the right table. I'm not aware of any keyboard shortcu
Hi,
No, I'm not experiencing this. I usually don't modify the volume using that
method though. I usually press VO-plus and VO-minus to change volume as I find
it quicker. I did test the TouchBar method though and it worked fine for me.

Hi,
It is a security thing. If you had your iMac set to require a password after
sleep or screen saver, or if your Mac was set to require a password after a
certain time of inactivity, this would be announced but also require your
password to unlock. This sort of setting is, for security reas

Hi!
So you don’t even make the screen go to sleep.
If you do this could actually cause the screensaver to kick in.
I also have this issue but haven’t really cared about it.
BUt now when you wrote about it i am also curious to see what could cause the
problem.

Hi!
I don’t use the gps and therefore has turned off tracking location.
This drags a lot of battery.
Also turn off cellular data when you don’t use that.
Also turn off bluetooth should also be turned off.
