Yeah I just set up a new iPad mini and when asked for that I said no as it
annoys me rather than helps me.

Hi Angus,
Irstly yes terminal can be used to format your iMac.
As for keeping your data,
Only way to do that is to make sure your data on your iMac is backed up to your
time machine device
However the terminal commands for formatting the drive in your imac is not easy
to do if you don’t know
I have a 2013iMac with a 1.1TB Fusion Drive. I also have a Bootable Catalina SD
Card. I thought to do a reformat of my 2013 iMac’s HD before installing
Catalina. My iMac also backups to Time Machine and BackBlaze. Can Terminal be
used to reformat my 2013 iMac and Install Catalina? And how do I
I think it is still up to you whether you want to use it or not. i set mine up
before I upgraded.

Yeah common but you might want to check that and if needed tell your ISP of the
disconnection.
I did download the installer a couple of weeks ago so I have the first release
on a USB Flash drive.

Well I did
Well so far it seems okay. It took about an hour although I had to give it two
shots as I lost the internet connection half way through the download the first
time round.

I hope it’s good, can’t go back!
I’m waiting on my 11” mac book air to be repaired and I’ll install it on that
for a trial period before going crazy on my mac book pro.

Well I did get a similar message to that, I got a notification to finish
setting up two factor authentication on my Mac and I had to enter the Apple ID
pass word again and then enter the security code that appeared on my iPhone.

Anyone try this yet under Catalina? When I try this, there seems
there's no option to add to the wish list. And when I press the buy
button, there seems to be a dialog that Voiceover is not aware of.

I prefer over the ear headsets myself, but when I need something small
ear buds work.

Yeah Bose are great,
I’ve got a pair and never use them.
My airpods S2 and power beats pro work great and therefore no need to spend
more on something that isn’t going to work any different.

Ok, thought I knew how to do this, but when dragging files, I go to drop, and
it says drag canceled, what is the right way to do this? Running latest build
of Catalina

If you have any questions or concerns
Nope, not that I’m interested anyway. Love my Bose headphones and I don’t like
anything in my ear.

Yeah I’m kind of getting p’d that apple price us out of the market for things
like these,
With the apple care Plus warranty these pods pro go up to 500
Which would get me 2 sets of normal airpods
Or god knows how many sets of other Bluetooth earpod t
My wife totally agreed with you , and she doesn’t think she will be getting
these.

I can confirm that the status bar on the 8+ is much easier to read now as well.

Hell Mark!
Go into VoiceOver settings and find the audio button.
Here you find a audio and haptics button.
Press that and here you can set the intencity of the haptics.
Hope this helps.

To me the best of the airpods so far,
They are a good quality airpod
With great sound,
Play / pause,
Back / forward
Volume controls
And a nearly complete noise cancellation
I'm not really a fan of the insert buds that the power beats pro and the new

Everything else seems to be running smoothly thus far so I may have the courage
to update the 2 other IOS devices I have here.
That's one of the things that really suck about Airpods, no volume
control and you can't skip back when changing tracks.

I've just been reading up on these new airpods and I'm slightly confused.
They have the silicon tip on the ear peace so they must be narrower at that
point than the Series 1 & 2 airpods,
So what is holding them in your ears when listening to them or moving around?
Is it just the silicon ear pea
