Thank you, Michelle, I’d forgotten about using that. Still, it seems really
strange that there is no document or website laying out the common shortcuts
(as there are so many for using non-Braille Bluetooth keyboards)..

Word Press is what I suse. All you need is Mars edit for the Mac and the
Word Press app for iOS to maintain your blog. You really don't need to actually
go on the site itself to do much with it.

I was out for awhile and when I got back here I tried vo MM again and I could
hear everything like normal so I guess it was that malwarebytes thing after
all. I'll try doing what you suggested with control f8 though just in case I
need it.
thanks.

Hi,
I am considering starting a blog and wondered if anyone had some advice of the
best sites to use - I want something that is free as I amnestying not sure yet
if it is something I will do.
I know that I can use mars edit to create posts and link to a blog but wondered

Hi,
I was able to partially duplicate your issue when I used ctrl-f8. Once focus
moved up to the Menu Extras, only one item was available. To fix this, I let
go of the VO keys, then pressed the right arrow, then pressed the VO keys once
again and was able to navigate normally in the Menu Extr
I did a restart after deleting the app and it's not showing up in my apps
folder any more for whatever that's worth.

Hi,
It probably wouldn't hurt to give them a note saying what the problem was. VO
does this often when it comes to the buffer. I think what is happening is that
VO is taking note of the various items on the page, for use by the Item Chooser
or various rotor controls. Sometimes, even with my
Hi!
I actually resolved the problem by first changing navigation from dom to
grouping or what’s it called in Vo?
Then nothing happend but i turned off Vo and did the command tab and turned Vo
on and that made it.
So i could finish the order i did for my cofee.
I wonder if it would help us with su
Hi,
Are you using VO-left/right to move through the Menu Extras? Menu Extras is a
different animal, and does not allow simple arrow navigation. You must also
use VO-space to activate. This behaviour is different than in the regular
menus, but has been this way for quite a number of MacOS ver

Hi,
I'm not sure on the specifics of that one. Different Malware things have
differing levels of complications with respect to removal. Some, as you
suggested, just take the deletion of the app, and a restart. Others pretend to
delete, then somehow automatically reappear. These ones take a
I removed malwarebytes by deleting the app. I don't know if that got it all out
or not. I still see "frontend agent has no windows" when I press control f8.
when I press vo M twice I get dropbox and nothing else.do I need to do
something else to completely remove malwarebytes?
thanks.

I installed it once on the advice of an Apple Care tech. I don't really feel I
need it. I'll do my best to get rid of it. is there anything more to it than
deleting the app?

This sounds like the Malware software is responding to focus and or mouse
being on it in the Menu Extras area. If this is indeed the case, there might be
a couple ways around it, or it might be possible for you to remove the Malware
from the menu extras menu. You would do this by dragging the i
Hi,
When you pressed the cmd-option-Escape, did the Force Quit window present

Hi,
It sounds like Malware Bites is messing with your system. I realize the sense
of security that people get from software like Malware Bites, but I find that
these sorts of solutions often mess with your OS in a way that a sighted person
wouldn't notice, but VO does. If you have the ability

Hi!
Hmm, i wonder if there is some sort of window that VoiceOver doesn’t get focus
on.
Might be worth a try with the VO f2 press.

Thanks for all the feedback, everyone; it really helped.
If I ever discover a way to reconfigure the keyboard in such a way that truly
gives me the feeling of an iOS keyboard experience, i.e. Command Key right next
to the spacebar, and Option to the left of that, I will share that nugget with
