I have only used the Brilliant in bluetooth mode when working with MacOS. I’ll try it with a cable tonight and let you know my experience. There was a Brilliant Firmware update available via the HumanWare Windows installer tool that I received last month. I have no idea what was in that firmware

Hi! Hmm, if the brailliant worked in previous versions that’s very strange indeed. I don’t have a brailliant but can’t the brailliant displays emulate Handytech displays? You might try that first. Does other things work on this port you connected your braille display to? Might be worth checking. /
