TUAW - The Unofficial Apple Weblog
The Apple Watch Series 3 comes with built-in LTE, but as MacRumors pointed out,
T-Mobile's add-on $10 wearable plan limits devices to 512kb/s connections.

Anders, actually if you remember at WWDC they did say there were going to be
new Macs out. First the iMac Pro at the end of this year and the Mac Pro at the
beginning of next year.

To add to Jurgen's message, I understand that hands off has to be enabled on
both devices too. I've not tried it but I have recently read about this
somewhere on the web. So it's bluetooth has to be enabled, both devices have
to be on the same wifi and hands off has to be enabled too.

I have the idea that with watches prior to the series 3, there was a Bluetooth
connection between the phone and the watch. With the advent of the LTE, I
wonder if this would free up that connection, so that you could use it with

All that is required for this to work is that both devices be signed into the

Hello Jürgen,
I will enable Bluetooth on both devices and see if that helps.

Hi Michael,
as far as I know bluetooth has to be enabled and the devices need to be in the
same Wifi network. But still it more or less works randomly here between my
Apple devices. Sometimes it works this way but most of the time it doesn’t.
All the best

I suppose that approach works, but it seems like a lot of trouble, just to get
text from one device to the other. I have a feeling that I have to enable
something in my settings.
I once succeeded in getting this feature to work, but it involved turning my
iPhone off and on several times, whi
What I do is copy or cut the text from the Mac, make a new message to one of my
other email addresses, pasting the text in the message. That way, I can open
that message in my iPhone, copy or cut the text I had pasted, then paste that
into the document app there I use.

Hello everyone,
I recently needed to copy a moderately long text from my MacBook Pro to my
iPhone. I listened to David Woodbridge’s podcast on this subject, and it
seemed straightforward enough..
In my case, I selected the text I wanted to copy, and then copied it to the
clipboard of my MacBo
