The first thing that comes to mind is that you need to uncheck the show all
related messages option, located in Mail Preferences. I believe it's under the
View tab.

I went to Settings + Messages and made sure iMessages was turned on. Next I
have “iMessages can be shared between iPhone, iPad, iPod and Mac. Learn more.”.
And “Send and Receive” with my cell number. I can tap on this and get a choice
of switching to Apple ID, An Email and/or my cell num

Hi E.T., From what I've experienced, just type the code, don't tab or
vo+arrow arround. I made the mistake the first time of tabbing and my
first digit went into the second field. So, just start typing and
you'll be moved to the next field automatically.

Here’s how to do a Find anywhere on the Mac.
• Press Cmd-f to open the Find & Replace window.
• Type your search term.
• Press Return.
• Press Cmd-w to close the Find & Replace window.
• Press Left Arrow to unselect the result and place the insertion point to the
left of the word.

On your iphone go to settings/messages and make surre iMessages is on, and to
the right text messages is on. Activate text messages button and approve your
imac. There will be a code sent to your imac which you then have to enter into
your iphone. I found that bit a bit tricky. Go
