I know this doesn't answer your specific question, but I don't usually use
cmd-f unless I am going to edit specific words or phrases in a large file. I
use vo-f instead and if I am repeatedly looking for the same word or phrase, I
can just do vo-f and up-arrow to the word and press enter.

Hello,
I’m having difficulty using find (cmd + f) in textedit. How can I tell what
has been found without closing the find dialog by hitting the done button?

Hi,
I'm not sure quite how to explain this, but here goes. In Mavericks, I had my
mac set up to let me know whenever a new file was being added to my downloads
folder so I knew a safari download had started and finished. Now, under
Yosemite, often the dialog box is there, asking me to press en
Try ctrl-command+f. Voice Over will say «in full screen» when going to
minimized screen and «close full screen» when going to full screen. The
opposite.
Take care

Speaking from memory you also need to enable it in keyboard commander.

Hello!
In Mavericks there were several shortcuts that was pre-defined for starting
mail etc.
I have also created a shortcut for muting speech.
Sadly these shortcuts seems to not work any more.
I am not sure why but i never had any problems with this in maverics.
Now in Yosemite it does not work.
Hello again Matt,
OK, I’ve fixed my problem. I reinitialised the PRAM and repaired permissions
and Add to iTunes as a spoken track is now working correctly.
Thank you so much for testing it for me.
Cheers,
Anne

Hello Matt,
When you installed Yosemite, did you install it over Mavericks or did you do a
clean install but import your info from a Time Machine backup or do a clean
install and copy back your data? I did the second one: a clean install and
import my info from Time Machine.
Cheers,
Anne
