I'm not sure if bluetooth braille displays work at logon. I know for a fact
displays connected to USB work everywhere, including at login and during
software updates, so you can just connect your display that way.

When you connected your husband's PC to the TC, was it using Ethernet (a cable)
or wireless?
If Ethernet, your options for making it go faster are limited, and Apple should

I do mean the settings of the time Capsule. I've looked in the Airport
utility, but don't see anything that I can actually configure. I didn't try
calling Apple, because the Time Capsule is more than 90 days old. But maybe
