Hey guys,
I have had several problems with numbers since the mountain lion
updated, and emailed apple accessibility a few weeks back. I never
heard anything as I did express my disappointment with how poor an
apple product like numbers worked with VO. I finally heard back from
Apple and they said
Hi Mike.
Thank you for your help.

If mountain lion was preinstalled, just use the recovery to reinstall. There is
also an program you can download from apple's site called the recovery
assistant that will create a recovery flash drive for you.

No, the image won't fit on a DVD. I sort of had to go the long way around. I
let it install as an upgrade, then I booted the mac in to recovery and did an
erase and reinstall from there. I now have it on a flash drive though so
upgrading my other macs will go much faster.

Question. When you went in to the record dialog, did you keep getting "busy"
from Voice Over?

Anne,
This took just a little getting used to, and it would be nice if you didn't
have to bring the mouse each time, but this really is very accessible. I have
never played a crossword in my life, and am really happy to find out how this
works.if I find others, I will let you know.
Thanks so

Hello all
I now got Tonido, both the desktop and iPhone app. Apart from a
misunderstanding on my part not realizing I had to both update the
service and application until they both show fully up to date, it's all

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know of an accessible video converter for the Mac?
I have several video files that have the ".mkv" extension.
I found a program on the Internet, but it places a watermark on the video.
Any suggestions people have would be great - hope all are having a safe holiday

Yes, Pages has the facility to track changes but it's almost impossible to use
with VO. The changes are shown in
Track changes are proofreading tools used in MS Word. I'm not sure if there's
an equivalent in Pages.

Regions is a way of editing non-destructively. You can select a part of a sound
and then make it into a region. In the pc-version you can then put the regions
into a play/cut list where you can decide to play or skip them, you can reorder
them and even loop them. That's not yet possible on the m

It worked fine up to Lion. The issue in Lion was that VO didn't read the first
letters of a new line. But now in Mountain Lion it's terrible to use. I tried
to install Snow Leopards Preview in Mountain Lion what was free of such issues,
but it didn't work.

Hi,
as far as I use it it workes really well with VoiceOver. In some points better
then in Windows without Snowbargers scripts.
But I have another question: What exactly are regions and for what can I use
them?
Thanks and all the best

The subject line is pretty self-explanatory, I guess.
Is there a way to check track changes on the Mac with VoiceOver?

Hello, the question I was asking is a continuation of a question about the PC
keyboard. I wanted to know which keys Will simulate the command key and the
control key. I was told that the option key is the alt key, but I need to know
about the command key.
Thank you.

Hi Stacey,
Yes, I've tried the readability plug-in and also the earlier

the plug-in, in my opinion, and can be used more easily on iOS
devices. This is basically another service like Safari Reader that
