this question isn't really related to voiceover, but I thought I'd ask
it here anyway as it relates to the well being of my poor macbook, lol.
so, lately every time I try to do a spotlight search, my mac freezes.
voiceover says the finder is busy and the fan revs up really loud.

does anyone know if second life is accessible on the Mac? also, on an
unrelated note, how do you launch that thing when you first get your Mac
that goes, "this operating system has a built-in screen reader called
voiceover..." i assume it's command option f8 but am not sure?

you pres VO-L, it should read the name of the tag for you. It's
reading the MouseOver text, instead of the main text.

the mac platform.

OK, so i had to force quit itunes during the software update and my
iphone is now in recovery mode. am I going to need to take it to apple
or could I find some eyes to do this in my house? unsure why the
section doesn't show up in the iphone area

Try Mac the Ripper as well. I like to rip the dvd's in full quality and
throw them on a 1 tb external drive. It works great for our theater room.

Yep, works like a charm and in fact is just like working with the
Finder. If you want to go as far as providing a URL to a file and
have it expire after a number of days, there are utilities for that
