Aside from a few issues (mainly VO's inability to remember braille
settings across multiple sessions - like whether or not to display
that obnoxious highlight line) braille is quite effective and neat.
Some things aren't intuitive - I can't click on a member of a group

the quality of the braille display is another topic for another day,

Hi,
I faced the same problem. I am using a Mac Mini with MythTV on it and
am looking at switching to Tangerine. Tangerine is GPL software and is
under ddevelopement. MythTV does not use a standard VO accessible
interface, ... But Tangerine hopes to plug that hole.

Hi,
There is a VO shortcut to read the currently focused item. I am a
teacher of VO so I should know it, ... But a teacher can't know
everything, ... Wink. Sometimes the students must teach the teachers.
Try looking in the VO help.

Regarding the first question: Not sure how to get the ticking to

Somehow the ticking has stopped on my Mac, and I like it, and I want

You're welcome, Robert. I forgot to elaborate on where to check on CD/

You'll actually hear which titles are being burned in sequence,

Hi Robert,
I'm pasting this in from a message I sent in April about setting up
the iPod Nano 4G. It describes where to check for the updating
status when syncing -- this is the player status window of iTunes that
announces which track is currently playing, etc. The main thing is

Hi Rossy,
If you have a MacBook Pro of any sort, you do not need to install the
MacBook Battery Update 1.4. Only if you have a MacBook model and if
it's firmware version, serial number, and pack lot code all meet the
specifications do you need to install this.
Cheers,
Esther
