issues with program - need to uninstall

Macports isn't 'program' as such, and without further information on what exact issues you are having it is impossible to tell if they really are due to MacPorts or something else. What, *exactly*, do you mean by 'my computer has not been working properly' ? On 21/08/2019 4:04 pm, Eden King

Sounds like you simply did not let the installer run properly to completion. One of the last steps can take a short while and perhaps you got impatient and killed it too soon. Is it still running ? Have you checked with Activity Monitor ? Have you tried restarting your machine ? Chris On
