Hello Thank you for the very fast support. I followed Chris Jones advice and created the .xinitrc.d directory. Still no result (forever loop of XQuartz). After some investigation, I found out that I had an invalid $PATH (did not contain /opt/local/bin) and no .bashrc file (or .bash_profile) at
