I upgraded the OS on one Mac yesterday to OSX 10.13.5 and installed my usual
MacPorts ports, including tcl (tcl @8.6.8_0+corefoundation+threads). I have
been using the package Modules 3.2.10 for many years on my Mac systems, but I
don’t find it in MacPorts. I tried to re-install Modules 3.2.10 f
I ran a “port selfupdate” a week or two ago, so I am on 2.5.2. Today I tried to
run “port reclaim” and it failed with an error about a missing table entry.

It is confusing for people like me who use MacPorts at a more casual level than
active developers get a message that “qt5-qtenginio” port should be removed and
then to have to figure out how to remove it without breaking other ports we
have installed, even if they are inactive.

Well it looks good now. 5.7.1 is the latest, and it's what you have active,
so hopefully things are fine now?

It is great to see the improvements in MacPorts 2.4.0. Thanks to all the

I especially like the new function to print out the notes from ports installed

I use the QGIS installed with MacPorts and it has been working great for years.
When I did the regular “port selfupdate” and “upgrade outdated” recently, I was
not able to get the latest version of QGIS to build, which already had a ticket
open. I also find that I cannot run the previous version
