Once I had this problem when my router was blocking one of required ports.
On another occasion I rebooted and it went away. A third time I just waited
awhile and tried again and it worked.

Hi All,
Is the Drupal dependancy on php52 a permanent fact of life, or will it
eventually work with the normal php5 port? I thought I read that Drupal
became compatible with php5.3 as of v6.14. Thanks for any updated info...

I recently posted about difficulty installing the ncursesw port. One of the
lines in the error message is
