The MacPorts Project is pleased to announce the release of version
2.2.1. This is a bugfix release with small changes only. See the
ChangeLog [1] for the list of changes.
If you already have MacPorts installed, the preferred method for
updating is to run:
sudo port selfupdate
For new installs,
I had the same problem, though it was for apr. The primary problem six that a
Mavericks compatible MacPorts has not as yet been released. You can however,
follow the migration instructions you will find at the macports website, and
perform an SVN installation. You will build MacPorts with Xcode
