Ehi Ryan,  Thank you. I looked in all the computer and there is not any libhdf5.101.dylib. I also tried with the trace mode, but I got an error like “bin/ps operation not permitted” before it reached the actual point where the previous error was given. Can I somehow overcome the sandboxing?  T

Sorry, I replied fastly and did not see I was replying just to yourself :) In any case I removed the local source, and re-did the selfupdate just to check (but I had the branch of the local git repo rebased on upstream master). No outdated ports.  I’m quite sure it is not a problem of my local

I reswitched back to the new versions of hdf5. I manually upgraded netcdf and netcdf-cxx and recompiled vtk, but I get the same error at the same point.  I do not understand if it’s a problem with vtk or with macports… o.O  I also tried with the new netcdf-cxx4 port, but I get the same error un

Hello Ryan,  Thanks for replying. I think I did my self update (when having a file:// local ports repository on the sources.conf, is there something to take care in addition to standard `sudo port self update`? Because I had the impression that sometimes I was not getting the updates properly…)
