2. I can require one or another of the openjdk ports available in
MacPorts.
3. … something else?
What do the experts here suggest?

At some point, the license has to be shown and the question has to be
asked. Perhaps the way to do it is to have a separate small port that gets
license acceptance and store the result somewhere, and then have the main
portfile check for the acceptance.

It's Radiance. It is hard to change, perhaps not possible at all. Is there
any way MacPorts can accommodate this, perhaps as a source-only port?
What do people think?

Thanks, everyone, for the discussion. I'll have to look into how it applies
specifically to our app.

Thanks. So – what does that mean for a command line application? Or does it
make any difference at all?

I am unable to find anything from Apple on the specific changes that
have been made to command line app compilation in Mojave.
I think what has been done is that /usr/include has been moved, and longs
and pointers are now 64 bits. Do I have that right?

After more study, I found the code that produced that error. So that's
done. But there are many more problems with the CMake files when building
in a package manager environment; many files are being installed in wrong
places. To be continued…

Rainer Müller – and, no, there is no fixup_bundle in our CMakeLists.txt
files. I'm unclear on why cmake generates it.

Rainer Müller – thank you. I'll try to apply that to our CMake files.

straightforward thing to do, but when I try to
code it, it elaborates into some fairly messy code. Does anyone have
suggestions as to how to approach this problem?
