I'm using a maven plugin with a AbstractMavenLifecycleParticipant.
When importing the poms m2e doesn't seem to call the extension.
Is there some way to tell m2e to pick up an run Maven extensions?

How do I build m2e. Trying to build m2e-core tag '
releases/1.7/1.7.0.20160603-1933' locally and getting missing artifacts.
Caused by:
