Are you sure that it's really m2eclipse that is the problem? We had a similar problem getting m2e working on Kepler with a Nexus repository that required TLSv1.2 as long as we were running Eclipse it with an IBM JDK. Switching to an Oracle JDK solved the problem - and created others, but that's a
