should upgrade to m2e 1.2 and then import projects into Eclipse, I can
assume that they'll (more or less) automatically be led to the dialog that

Given the tedious (yet necessary!) intellectual property rights
clearance process at Eclipse, this is not likely to ever happen.
The whole discovery catalog is designed to keep the whole thing
scalable: only the catalog with pointers to 3rd party provided p2
repositories is supposed to be hosted
There are no plans to publish m2e connectors to eclipse.org, eclipse
legal process does not allow this. You can publish them to eclipse
marketplace, however.
