Installing LyX 2.4.1 and 2.3.8 side by side

Can I install both LyX 2.4.1 and 2.3.8 simultaneously on my Windows laptop with TeXLive 2023? If I edit and save a file using LyX 2.4.1 will it still be viewable and editable using 2.3.8? Sincerely and with many thanks in advance Thomas Philips -- lyx-users mailing list lyx-users@lists.l
