problem with EPS flies

Hallo, Using Lyx-1.2.0/PLD linux I experience the following problem: Graphics in EPS format cannot be inserted into a document. I had no such a problem when using Lyx-1.1 more then a year ago. Probably this is due to the lack of some neceserry converters or something similar, but i have no clue on
