Should I be able to map control-tab to a lyx function? I've added this
line to my .bind file:
\bind "C-Tab" "depth-decrement"
But on the Windows port of Lyx 1.3.6-1, nothing happens when I type C-Tab.
Thanks,
Scott
Lyx 1.3.6 has worked well on my WinXP machine until today, when I loaded
a copy of my resume and got the error message:
'Textclass error
The document uses a missing Tex class "cv". Lyx will not be able to
produce output.'
I've got a couple of cv.* things installed:

Hi, Lyx 1.4.0 looks like a great step forward but, unfortunately, it
hangs when I click the spellchecker box. I'm on a Red Hat Enterprise
Linux ES machine, and since I don't have root write permission, I built
lyx myself.
Everything works fine except the spellchecker -- including the thesaru
Should the thesaurus work in the Windows version of lyx 1.4? I've got
it working in Linux but don't see it in the 1.4.1svn windows version
I've installed using the new windows installer. Seems like it should be
possible to do since there's a windows port of Aiksaurus.
Anyway, thanks for 1.4!
I'm trying to use lyx 1.5.3 to read a lyx file which was created with an
older version of lyx (the University of Washington lyx thesis template:
http://staff.washington.edu/fox/tex/uwthesis_lyx.zip). When I open the
file, this triggers a lyx bug, either in lyx or within our install of

Is there a special procedure for cross referencing to chapters, as
opposed to sections?
In my thesis, I have no problem labeling sections, tables and figures
with Insert->Label and then cross referencing them later in the text
with Insert->Cross-Reference. However, when I label chapters and

The shortcuts for the search box's forward and backward search arrows are
supposed to be M-f and M-b. But, in Lyx 1.1.6fix2, they move the cursor back
and forth in the search text window, rather than activating forward or backward
searching.
If this is a bug, is this the proper place to report i

Yes! The LyX search popup is so inconvenient that I dread
Where can we look to see what the 1.2.0 citation mode will be like? I'd hate to
see the lyxpipe interface go away, mainly because I have a hacked version of
tkbibtex which allows me to add formatted notes for each article in my bibtex
database -- makes searching for just the right paper much easi

Will someone please take me off of this list? I've followed unsubscribe
instructions, have sent the list owner an unsubscribe message and I am
still getting these emails every day.
There is a bug in the unsubscribe process.
Thanks,
Scott
Just for the record, I am also missing the math panel. I'm on RedHat
7.2 with the latest Ximian Gnome (if that's relevant) and I rebuilt
lyx-1.2 and xforms-0.89-1 from the .src rpms.

I started having this problem after I installed 1.2.1. I had a document with
citations that worked in lyx 1.2.0 but when I upgraded to 1.2.1, loaded the
document and made a dvi, all of the citations are displayed as [?] in the text.
The funny thing is that, in the bibliograpy printed at the end
I'm having this problem too. The "modify text, rerun view->pdf" doesn't
work for me. I also don't have spaces in my cite keys. Are there any
other suggestions?
Thanks,
Scott

Same problem here, too. Mouse text selection isn't usable if the select
region crosses a page boundary.
