The problem still exists in 2.4.3.
To reproduce, the cursor needs to be in text, NOT in a math box. Then when the
"Find" button is clicked in the Advanced Find dialog, the buttons move up to
leave the mouse pointing at the "Replace All" button instead of "Find" - at
which point it is dangerously

Interesting, I do no see your problem, as my math panel does not open just
because find & search enters it.
But this might be different in different Qt version (5.15 here) or beca
Yes I get the same problem with David's test file (i7 laptop, LyX Version
2.3.2-1, up to date Win10).
I had noticed some sluggishness previously when the number of equations builds
up, but not enough to make it worth raising as an issue.
However this test file is solid equations, and shows up the

Dear all -
Using LyX Version 2.3.2-1 (14 December 2018) under Win10, I am experiencing the
problem described below with seemingly greater regularity.
I'm guessing the atomicity of the Lyx save/rename operation is being broken by
a locking operation by Dropbox.
Does anyone know more?

I'm just evaluating a friend's Chromebook - and I'm very impressed. It seems to
do everything I want, at a fraction of the weight and cost of my old dying
laptop ... with one exception - Lyx!
This link: https://www.bestchromebookapps.com/lyx-for-chromebook/ promises Lyx
is available as an app.
I did not have high expectation of getting it working well on a
Chromebook, but I was wrong!
Best wishes
Paul

Dear all -
I just had to change the AMS document type for a long paper.
I have made heavy use of the paragraph/subparagraph environments, but these do
not exist(!) in the new doctype.
Is there any way of doing a find/replace via Lyx?
If not, is there any alternative to hacking the Lyx source, and

It’s not perfect, but I think it is worth pointing out that this is not Lyx
terminology, I have come across it in many communities. I note it has its own

The Outlook client view has not changed. It does provide slightly more
information (see attached screen shot).
I have not come across this form of address line on emails from any other
source (it contains 3 email addresses!), so there is something unusual about it.
