Keyboard shortcut for selecting paragraph styles / environments?

Is there a shortcut to activate the drop-down box for all the environments? It really bugs me having to use a mouse to click up there any time I change environments. Thanks, Mark

LyX doesn't store my PDF viewer info

When I set LyX to tell it the path and file name of my Acrobat Reader, it doesn't stick. When I quit, and restart it, and loses that info. --Mark

I hit "Modify", then "Apply", then "Save". The info DOES seem to be stored in my preferences file, nevertheless, LyX is unable to remember the viewer associated with PDF files if I exit and restart, or rather is unable to load the info from the preferences file. --Mark

italic correction

Does Lyx automatically provide the LaTeX italic correction sequence (\/) after every transition from italics back to regular font? If so, what happens when I import a LaTeX document with a whole bunch of those sequences already embedded? Will the effect be doubled? --Mark
