I am working on Ubuntu Linux x64 with lyx 2.0.0. I installed chktek from my
repository and reconfigured lyx. I've tried restarting and reconfiguring lyx
several times, and chktek is still not appearing in the Tools menu.
I'm working on an Ubuntu machine.
I have Aspell installed and it works fine at the command line. When I
attempt to set it as the spellchecker in lyx, I'm not allowed to choose
anything...something called Enchant is selected, and I cannot change it.

Is there some way to show the different branch background colors, or any other
indicator of different branches, in the output file?

Bernd,
Please do not address the entire list as "Sirs." It is disrespectful to assume
that all list members are male.

Solved by re-downloading the file.
How can I use named colors in lyx? I can't add \usepackage[usenames]{color} to
the preamble because \usepackage{color} is there by default and I get an "option
clash for package color" error.

In the Custom box I assume? Maybe using named colors isn't the problem, but I
added that and tried to use urlcolor=royalblue as a hyperref option, and I'm
still getting an undefined color error.

The point of using the named colors is not being limited to basic
colors like blue.
