I have monitored last month’s threads about LyX woes under macOS 13. There
wasn’t a definite conclusion it seems.
Would you say it’s safe to upgrade to MacOS13 now (with LyX 2.3.6.2)?

I'm still rather new to using LyX on a Mac, and I have a couple more
questions, here is the 1st:
I've just recently noticed that some .lyx~ files remain alongside my
regular LyX documents.
They are not hidden, but the Mac file browser adds a subtitle to them:
"non admissible" (in French.

I have recently upgraded my MacBook to MacOs 14 “Sonoma” last week (right from
12).
LyX (2.3.7) was one of the main apps that I have tested; it appeared to work
well at first glance. But only today I have noticed a couple of issues, mainly
shortcuts, but possibly related:

I have a Libreoffice spreadsheet with many links to LyX documents. When I click
on such a link, it does launch LyX and the associated document. But several
functions (Python-related, I guess) are missing: shortcuts and (more
importantly) lyx2

What about enclosing the fraction vf/if between delimiters, the left one being
“none” and the right one a vertical bar?
I think it should expand by default to the full height of the fraction.
