Up until recently making an edit to a document in Lyx and then clicking View
PDF in the toolbar caused it to regenerate the PDF and display it; if the
file was still open in the viewer, then it would throw an error and you'd
have to close the file first...

I'm running LyX 1.6.8 on Windows 7 and I can't seem to insert my BibTeX
bibliography into my LyX document. 'Insert > List / TOC > BibTeX
Bibliography...' causes an error window to open that says "The script '/LyX/bin/../Resources/scripts/TeXFiles.py' failed". When I click "OK" the

I am writing a small report and the document settings has been set to
Report.
When i change the environment to section the numbering style starts with
0.1.
I would like to have it started as 1 instead. How do i change this setting?
