I work on Windows XP pro with the last version 1.6.5 from the alt installer.
Here what I did :

There's a button to configure the lyx server

Hi,
How can we change the output-font in pdf ?

That is excellent. It works perfectly! And I love being able to push the
citations from JabRef to LyX now!
Some comments:
(1) The wiki probably needs updating with this information.
(2) In the Additional Features document they write:
These are usually located in UserDir and have the names “lyxpip

I installed Lyx 1.6.5 on a Windows XP laptop, using the altinstaller
(the only one I could find for Windows that had 1.6.5). Before I
installed it, I uninstalled the previous version, 1.6.4. When I try to
launch Lyx, a DOS window flashes once or twice, and disappears. Lyx
never appears.

Hi,
I've been working in LyX and writing in Hebrew for the last week or so.
I have a problem - it seems that if I switch to English (to type in some
code),
the letters are wrong - for example, I type: "cat", and the screen
prints out "tac".
I fixed the problem by switching the language to Eng

doing something like that, and therefore I did wait for over an hour
with a broad-band internet connection, but nothing happened-- at least
nothing that I could see.

Where can I find instructions on this topic ?
Thanks in advance,

Yes, I've seen this website - even went to all the links on it.
I'm attaching a small LyX file.
Thank you!
