Hi! I am new to LyX and I am looking for a document class in the APA
(Amer. Psyc Assoc) style version 4 format for peer review articles.

Why does LyX add a \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} by default in all its
documents? My experience suggests that it's what makes PDFs generated by
pdflatex ugly.
How to set LyX so that it doesn't add that line in the LaTeX code?

I get an error window after each font. This did not happen with version
1.3.2. Does anyone know why the error windows appear and what could be
done to stop them from appearing.

Just an idea: have you installed latex-xft-fonts as Ruurd advises at his
LyX page?

Note that this is not the font type T1 but the encoding scheme. T1 gives
latin letters, T2 cyrillic letters etc.

Hello all,
I am having a severe problem with LyX. I was working fine, with
a multi-part document (a base document with others Included)
and now I get all these problems, a whole bunch of errors, when
I try to view or export the document. Most of them seem to be
associated with Tables. The thing t
