Hi! I usually write my algorithms in a separate file and then use Insert File->lyx document to move it over. It used to move it right in between the lines delimiting the algorithm. Now, it moves it above it so that it's not clear when the algorithm starts. What to do? used to be:

Two dots (umlaut) above symbol was Re: xbar symbol?

Hi people, I wanted to do the same but to place an umlaut above a letter in math mode. I could not get it to work using '\"O' as I normally do for the few times I use the symbol (it represents electrons in my case, above an elemental symbol). Do someone have a quick solution for this? Can it be

Here's an example. You can get around this problem by inserting a blank algorithm float at the beginning but it shouldn't do that and it didn't before. test.lyx Description: testing > Myriam Abramson schrieb: > > > I usually write my algorithms in a separate file and then use Insert > > F

Hi list, again I mention one remark which shows IMHO that in LyX version 1.2.1 there are some inconveniences which are IMHO really not necessary and which have been much better done in version 1.6.3. Until version 1.6.3 it was normal that images of the EPS format were normally imported. Now in
