If you have a user TEXMF tree (~/texmf) defined in texmf.cnf, you can put
the bib files in ~/texmf/bibtex/bib/
Another possibility is to set the BIBINPUTS variable.
For example, for tcsh,

Yes, this seems like a bug in LyX. Unfortunately I can not help with it.

If I open a LyX document with some eps figures in it, I can't see

here you are. If you try to get the postscript from the attached

happens on my computer).

Hi all,
It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me find a global
solution to setting caption font size to be "smaller" than the rest. I'd like
to think that there is a better solution than manually changing the layout of
characters for caption to all figures and tables.
Cheers,
This is new and strange, and I don't know what to do. I imported an ASCII
text file (as paragraphs) into lyx-1.1.6fix3 and set the font type to
Palatino. The dvi preview is correct, but when I print it to a file (.ps),
the word "first" has the "fi" converted to an upper-case theta!
This holds

Hi!
After upgrading my system from Suse 6.4 to 7.2 including an update from
ghostscript 5.50 to 6.51 LyX 1.1.6fix2 no longer displays any eps files.
I read about a problem displaying eps images with gs 6.5, but (if I am
correct) this should be fixed in 6.51.
Right now my main problem is _not_ t
