Hello all to Lyxers,
At the moment my document presents its footnotes
at the bottom of every page, I would like to
change this to set all footnotes at the end of the
document appearing as part of the references.
Within the Lyx-docs and also in my LaTex-
reference-guide I miss some helpful hints t

Normally I write my texts not in the same order as it will be in the
final document. I often leave parts out to write them later. Normally,
I use notes, to mark those parts, so I don't forget them. This works
fine, but there are two backdraws:
- I also use notes for other notes. Notes about a pen
I currently have 1.1.5-10a installed, along with teTeX, in the standard
locations. However, when I try to install 1.1.5fix1-1, I get the
dependency errors: missing tetex-latex and tetex-xdvi. Is there any
simple way to edit the .rpm file or feed rpm the correct file locations?
Thanks,

A little proposal: it would be very useful in LyX to have a panel like
"Insert>Symbol" found in AbiWord, expecially for my wife that absolutely doesn't
want to remember any key bindings.
Thank you

Preamble: I am a LyX novice.
I am writing a PhD thesis with LyX, first of all I thank you very much for LyX:
it is really wonderful.
I attach a file with three examples explaining my problems.
First example: I tried to import a XFig picture not in the same directory as
the lyx document. LaTeX

Hi
I'm teaching my father how to use LyX. The biggest problem is that

This is rather confusing so I'm wondering if it is possible to also

or
- change the paths in the _t file ie:

How can I create a 'Angstrom' symbol. LaTeX does have one and A^{\circ} is
not a good Angstrom.

Do you know where there's some good documentation on how to make templates?
What the standards are and whatnot? Also, what kind are needed? I might be
able to do one or two if I can figure it out, but they would be for things
like homework and school reports. (What I do, in other words :-)
Dear LyXers,
I am about to submit a paper to an Elsevier journal and I
