Dear LyX Users and Developers,
I just wanted to ask whether there is the option to use the
spell-checking feature of LyX for a document with e.g. mixed German and
English content.
I could not find any info in the Help Manuals. I know that I can do a

Or are there other tips for spell checking of two languages in one text? It

Try \usepackage[greek, english]{babel} in the Preamble. It might solve

Did you check "Use Babel" in the Document>Settings>Languages tab?
GM
Hello
I have a problem with hyphenation when I use two or more character sets in the
same document.
If i leave the English as the default document language the hyphenation does
not work, when the text is in another language (i.e Greek).
When I select Greek as the default language the hyphenation
found it.

If there is some blasphemy in your document, it won't work ;-)

i tried using this hint
http://tug.org/TeXnik/mainFAQ.cgi?file=layouts/abstract
however, this complains that babel for language danish is not loaded.
so i tried to put \usepackage[danish]{babel} in preamble, but then all of
the document is apparently turned into danish - TOC is translated ...

I'm writing an article, and the abstract must appear in two lenguages.
I have two questions:
- I can't put the Abstract enviroment twice. Is this posible.
- The word 'Abstract' must appear in Spanish and English within the abstract
enviroment.
I mean:

Thank you very much for the very detailed instructions. The LyX
people and mailing list are so helpful that I too easily ask here without
thinking first much myself.
