Hello I have installed version 1.2 but can't get it to recognize the latex class file I was happily using under 1.1.6fix4. I have run texhash and reconfigured lyx several times (just to be sure). I also followed the instructions in the lyx "customization" file (under help menu) chapter 6, on inst

Well, I figured it out. I had to place the appropriate layout file in ~/.lyx/layout I _had_ placed it in /usr/local/share/lyx/layout which is where it was before. For some reason it doesn't work to add new files there, I guess. Wonder why? On Thu, Oct 17, 2002 at 05:54:54PM -0500, Bruce Tyler
