Hello
I have installed version 1.2 but can't get it to recognize the
latex class file I was happily using under 1.1.6fix4.
I have run texhash and reconfigured lyx several times (just
to be sure).
I also followed the instructions in the lyx
"customization" file (under help menu) chapter 6, on inst
Well, I figured it out.
I had to place the appropriate layout file in ~/.lyx/layout
I _had_ placed it in /usr/local/share/lyx/layout
which is where it was before. For some reason it doesn't
work to add new files there, I guess. Wonder why?

Hi,
I'm trying to install new classes (cd-cover and cv), but somehow it doesn't
work out.
I've copied the *.cls to '/usr/share/lyx/tex', and the *.layout to
'$HOME/.lyx/layouts', and the *.lyx templates to '/usr/share/lyx/templates'
This done, I did a 'texhash' in order to let LaTeX know about
