Hi, sorry for answering so later, I had some urgent work to finish !
Finally, I succeed: my bindings work, using META instead of the CTRL. It
seems that some CTRL+"something" (e.g. grave) combinations do not work,
I don't know why !
Bo Peng told me that the accent-xxx functions do not work with lyx

(apart from the two first lines: "Bind file:
/usr/local/share/lyx/bind/cua.bind" and "KeyDescription")

/usr/local/share/lyx

Hello all,
I just unsuccessfully tried to find out, what are the default settings
of the keymap in LyX!
I want to use circumflex and other accented letters like "a'" and
alike.
In former versions I remember to hit META, letter - Kombination
followed
by the accented sign. This obviously works
