You do need to make sure you have the following LaTeX packages installed on
your system:
sciposter % the actual latex style file
multicol% to get multip
I made a very simple sciposter.layout file (attached) that defined the class
for LyX, put it in /usr/local/share/lyx/layouts, and reconfigured lyx.
I've also attached an example sciposter.lyx. I know that the layout file could
be much better and that this would make the lyx document have less ER

This gave me a great A0 landscape poster with 3 columns, a wallpaper image and
text enclosed in boxes with a white
Some time back there was discussion of using the
a0poster class with LyX.
Would someone be kind enough to post an example .lyx
file using this class and layout file.
