Nice writeup, even though the images are missing. One small nit, can all submitters please avoid using unix/a,mac shell characters (for example &, !, $ and |) in the file names when sharing. I like to use 'open file.lyx' and the linux users perhaps use 'lyx file.lyx' on the terminal... greetings
