I am afraid you didn't put the extra options into the
LAYOUT/DOCUMENT/Extra Options:
e.g. azure1,ps,accumulate,slideColor,nocolorBG
The 1st one is the style file. You may change it.
I've checked these options were in the layout file, but I
don't know why lyx 1.2.1 does not load them as lyx1.1.6.

using "class defaults" in layout -> document -> document worked well !
